adidas Reveals NMD_S1 in "Silver Metallic" Pack
Including an adidas exclusive colorway.
adidas taps into its NMD roots again, inspired by the silhouette which took the sneaker scene by storm in 2015. In this latest example, the sneaker maker has given its NMD-S1 a “Silver Metallic” pack treatment.
The “updated modern classic” shoes come in two colorways, including a base “Grey Two” and an adidas exclusive “Cloud White.”
Designed to have a bold look, the S1s harness a futuristic tactical style, featuring bulky midsoles that are accented by sleek and slim metallic plugs.
Like the NMDs before it, the S1 utilizes adidas responsive BOOST technology for comfortable wear and embraces the signature sock-like knit upper as a nod to the OGs. This knit upper is made with high-performance yarn, which notably contains at least 50 percent Parley Ocean Plastic — with the other 50 percent being recycled polyester.
