Arsenal's Striking 2023/24 Away Jersey Takes a Trip Out of Islington
Paying homage to the long journeys the club’s supporters take on away days.
Arsenal Football Club and adidas have presented their new away jersey for the 2023/24 season and it celebrates Arsenal’s Islington roots.
During each passing season, Arsenal always finds a way to connect with its fans and the area that make the club so special. For example, the Gunners have traveled to the land of Jamaica to present last season’s pre-match jersey — with it also being unveiled at Notting Hill Carnival — and the club has also worked with the likes of London-based artist Ruben Dangoor to celebrate the power of Transport for London.
Now, Arsenal’s latest away jersey looks to honor the club’s residing area, with the new eye-catching design featuring a slew of fluid black lines that take inspiration from the map of Islington. The design also represents the journeys the club’s supporters make out of the club’s home borough for away days on the road. Meanwhile, the “Shock Yellow” color scheme is complemented by light blue accents that are applied to the collars and sleeves.
The on-field version of the shirt is also constructed using HEAT.RDY technology — this is used to keep players comfortable and dry when playing on the pitch. For the fan version, the kit — which is made from 100% recycled materials — features AEROREADY technology, which uses sweat-wicking or absorbent materials to keep players feeling dry.

Along with the presentation of the new jersey, Arsenal has also unveiled a new campaign video that represents a journey to and from the borough of Islington. The short movie features a collection of Arsenal stars along with supporters of the club, such as rising UK rapper, AntsLive, whose smash record “Number One Candidate” is used as the corresponding song throughout.
