Venezia FC's New Home Jersey Is Inspired by Italian Architecture

Hot on the heels of the presentation of its pre-match jersey, Venezia FC and Kappa have just presented their new home kit for the 2023/24 season and it embodies Italian heritage as Venezia continues to play as one of the beautiful game’s most fashion-forward clubs.

The new kit is inspired by past works from Venetian architect, Carlo Scarpo, who is best known for his attention to detail and his approach to design that sees him merge new architectural techniques with classic features of the Venezia city. Homage is paid to Scarpo on the jersey through the introduction of sleek gold details that sit atop the black jersey, while speckles of orange and green also add an extra slice of vibrancy.

Additionally, the kit also includes a stylish, golden Mandarin collar and the Kappa logo — along with “Città di Venezia” typography — which further complements the feature. The club crest then stands out against the matte colors of the jersey, with the classic emblem taking on a metallic gold color scheme.

In keeping with the gold detailing, the same sparkling hue can be seen on the sleeve cuffs on the short-sleeved edition, while the long-sleeved iteration features the same orange and green in the center of the design.
