Back in November 2022, Steve Jobs personal Birkenstock sandals were sold at an auction in New York City for $218,750 USD. The auction for the late Apple CEO’s heavily worn “Mink” Arizona Soft Footbed was handled by Julien’s Auctions. The footwear itself came from the collection of Mark Sheff, the person that managed Jobs’ Albany, California estate in the 1980s.

Art project ABCD, by creative José Wong, looked to immortalize Steve Jobs’ Birkenstock sandals with its latest release.

The design of the offering faithfully replicates the Jobs’ “Mink” Arizona Soft Footbed complete with spent suede strap uppers and weathered footbed linings with foot markings and separation from the cork. Finishing up the design of ABCD’s take on the worn-in Birkenstock sandals sold for $218,750 USD are bronze buckles marked with “ABCDByJosewong.”

Take a look at the unique offering from ABCD above and head over to José Wong’s website to stay tuned for the release.
