Spinnaker and Marine Conservation Society to Release a Limited-Edition Watch Capsule
Starring illustrated marine creatures on the dials.
Spinnaker is reuniting with the Marine Conservation Society (MCS) to unveil a second collaborative watch capsule. The collection consists of three references, each assigned with a designated colorway, with dials featuring illustrated sea creatures.
The Spence 300 comes in a 40mm case size and runs on the 24 Jewel Miyota 9039 automatic movements, offering the watch 42 hours of power reserve as well as 30 ATM water resistance. On its dial is an illustrated blue whale, complete with geometric indices and hand, all doused in Super-LumiNova.
Starring a green marine turtle on the dial, the Hass arrives in a slightly bigger 43mm case size. Operating inside the watch is a battery-free Japanese automatic TMI NH35 movement, complete with a roulette-style date wheel. Running on the same movement, the Cahill 300 also shares a 43mm case diameter and 30 ATM water resistance. What distinguishes it from its counterparts is the squid motif on its dial, which is doused in a bold red hue alongside its bezel.
All three models are encased in stainless steel, equipped with a unidirectional turning bezel, and accompanied by a matching link bracelet. An additional rPet nylon Nato strap is also offered for each colorway in a corresponding hue that echoes the illustrations on the dial.
Prices range from $370 – $650 USD, the collection will be available starting June 16 via Spinnaker’s official website and retailers. A portion of every sold timepiece’s proceeds will be donated to MCS to support their activities in marine conservation.
