LOEWE Drops Garden-Inspired "Home Scents" Campaign

Featuring three new plant-derived aromas alongside award-winning British gardener Charlie McCormick.

Described as “a visual tribute to the collection’s original inspiration of a vegetable garden,” LOEWE‘s Home Scents campaign is easy on the eyes. Starring self-taught gardener Charlie McCormick, the sartorial images showcase the label’s three new Home Scents — “Orange Blossom,” “Thyme” and “Geranium” — throughout serene garden scenes.

The plant-derived aromas pay tribute to McCormick’s ever-growing garden, which features radiant collections of tulips and dahlias, as well as fruits and vegetables he grows for competitions. The “Orange Blossom” scent, which draws inspiration from springtime smells with notes of honey, arrives as a scented candle in three sizes, as well as a wax scented candleholder and a room spray. The “Thyme” and “Geranium” scents, meanwhile, spotlight herbal notes in four-wick outdoor candles. Notably, the candles, which arrive in brown and turquoise vessels respectively, are ideal for the open air, as both plants naturally deter mosquitos.

For the campaign, contemporary photographer Walter Pfieffer captures McCormick in his element. The plantsman, fitted in pieces from LOEWE’s latest collections, appears in playful, casual poses throughout his West Dorset garden, reflecting the roots of LOEWE’s Home Scents. Strapped with his gardening essentials, which include shovels and planters, McCormick effortlessly brings the scents into his botanical paradise.
