Kendrick Lamar‘s TDE era is in the rearview mirror and he’s ready to go full force in promoting the rest of his output under his company pgLang. The west coast native has been making a handful of headlines in recent memory as he hopped on Beyoncé‘s “America Has A Problem” Remix, released the music video for his newest single “The Hillbillies” alongside his cousin and protégé Baby Keem and has been traveling around the globe for his summer festival run. And just ahead of his headlining set at Bonnaroo, Lamar made his finsta public so that fans can get a rare peek behind the curtain at his notoriously reclusive lifestyle.

The account username is @jojoruski and features a strange Martinelli’s apple juice image as the profile picture. In terms of the feed posts, you’ll find a myriad of different snapshots in Lamar’s life such as a snippet of a bouncy trap rap verse playing in the car, footage of him playing pick-up basketball with Keem and friends, a video of him sprinting across a field, selfies, images of Michael Jackson and Tupac, mood board images that have inspired his tour outfits and more. It’s not uncommon for celebrities to have finsta accounts as we’ve seen high-profile figures like Lizzo, Lorde and Kevin Durant have burners so they be more playful and separate their personal and professional lives. But given that Lamar rarely gives us any looks into his personal life, so the finsta reveal could mark the beginning of a rollout for his next project.

Sit tight as we gather more information regarding Lamar’s next moves in the coming months and check out the account here below.
