For its latest collaboration, Pièces Uniques has collaborated with SQUARE ENIX France on a capsule collection inspired by the heroes of Final Fantasy XVI. The artistic collaboration with designer Edmond Luu resulted in a series of looks that blends the aesthetic of his design language with the characteristic universe of Final Fantasy XVI.

Marking the release of the game (June 22), the creations of the Final Fantasy XVI x Pièces Uniques “Primordial Artefacts” capsule collection will be unveiled during Paris Fashion Week Men’s this month.

Final Fantasy XVI serves as the latest installment in the iconic action-RPG series and is set in an epic dark fantasy world, where the fate of the land is decided by the mighty Eikons and the Dominants who wield them. Drawing from the characters of the game, unique charismatic styling is expressed through styles.

Final Fantasy is a series that has always mattered to me” explained Edmond Luu, Designer and Founder of Pièces Uniques. “The many universes explored and the visual identity of each character, heroes as well as villains, are all unique. It’s an honor to be able to work with SQUARE ENIX France on Final Fantasy XVI to bring the Eikons and their Dominants to life.

Florent Moreau, SQUARE ENIX France France & Benelux CEO adds, “When we discovered the world and inspirations of Edmond Luu, it seemed natural for us to offer him this project. He was able to get the subtleties of the characters of Final Fantasy XVI and translate them in each one of his pieces. We hope that these exceptional creations will be able to touch the series’ fans as much as they touched us.”
