Trailer for Emma Seligman's 'Bottoms' Promises a Funny, Frenzied 'Fight Club' Set in High School

MGM and Orion Pictures have released the official trailer for Emma Seligman’s SXSW hit, Bottoms.
The teen comedy stars Rachel Sennott and Ayo Edebiri as PJ and Josie, two queer high school senior who form a Fight Club-like school organization in order to get with cheerleaders Isabel and Brittany, portrayed by Havana Rose Liu and supermodel Kaia Gerber. Led by adviser Mr. G, played NFL star Marshawn Lynch, they attempt to steal the cheerleaders away from their jock boyfriends who also threaten to end their club.
Seligman directed and co-wrote the script alongside Rachel Sennott, while Max Handelman, Alison Small and Elizabeth Banks — director of Cocaine Bear — serve as producers. Charli XCX and Leo Birenberg deliver music.
Bottoms made its world premiere as the headliner of the 2023 SXSW film festival and received critical acclaim.
