Danish audio brand Bang & Olufsen is building out their Atelier Editions, a curated lineup of luxury listening equipment, released in limited drops. For its fourth and fifth drops, B&O has returned with a pair of wireless headphones and a futuristic-looking speaker in two shades of rich green.

For the Beosound 2 speaker, the audio brand says it was inspired by the lightness of spring, giving way to the “Gradient Green” shade. Crafted out of aluminum, the hardware itself takes on a cylinder shape, which isn’t merely an aesthetic decision, but functions to provide 360-degree sound throughout each corner of a room. The shape also means it has a small footprint, ideal for placing on the kitchen counter or on an end table.

The top of the speaker has a sensor that will light up a control panel when a user hovers their hand over it. From there, they can play and pause music, adjust the volume and change tracks.

The Beoplay EX wireless earbuds come in a slightly darker “Forest Green” colorway. Featuring active noise cancellation, B&O has redesigned the headphones to be more ergonomic for greater comfort during long periods of wear and to fit snugly into ears despite any movement.

While the headphones filter out ambient sound, with a single tap, a user can turn off the noise cancellation. And in the event of inclement weather, the Beoplay EX are waterproof for up to 30 minutes at a time.

Only 15 units of the Beosound 2 “Gradient Green” speaker are available at $5,699 USD apiece. 64 units of the Beoplay EX in “Forest Green” has also hit the market for $399 a pair. Both editions can be ordered via the Bang & Olufsen website.
