Porsche Celebrates 75th Anniversary With Car-Inspired Xbox Series X Consoles and Controllers
Each console and controller set reflect one of the automaker’s iconic racing cars.

Over the years, gaming and automotive culture have become intertwined thanks to the popularity of racing titles. As part of its 75th-anniversary celebrations, Porsche is paying homage to the gamers among its fanbase with a series of limited edition Xbox consoles and controllers.
The automaker has collaborated with Xbox before, such as in the case of bringing its cars to the iconic Forza franchise. For this latest effort, Porsche has reimagined six of its famous cars in the form of the Xbox Series X and accompanying controllers. Each device has its own unique print, emulating the given car or racing event in which it competed.
Among the six cars are the 1998 24 Hours of Le Mans winter, the Porsche 911, and the Porsche Pink Pig, a cult-favorite pink race car. There’s also the blue and green Porsche Hippie and the first-ever Le Mans winner for the brand, the Porsche Salzburg. Rounding out the mix is the Porsche Racing Edition, which is also referred to as the “white whale” for its tail, and the brand’s current race livery on the 963, the Porsche 75th.
“Many people who end up being our most dedicated fans had their first encounter with Porsche through gaming,” Vice President Global Marketing at Porsche AG Robert Ader shared. “That’s why it plays a key role for us to stay relevant not just among current fans but among new generations, showcasing in the most awesome and engaging way what our brand has to offer.”
Those interested in winning a Porsche x Xbox console and controller can enter online from now until October 1.
