adidas and FIGC Celebrate 125th Anniversary With Special-Edition Italy Football Kit
Only 2023 uniforms will be sold.
adidas has extensive ties with the football world, supporting the sport through thick and thin. This year, the Italian Football Federation celebrates its 125th birthday, and adidas is debuting the first-ever commemorative kit to celebrate.
Italy’s national football team will introduce the fresh uniform at 2023’s UEFA Nations League Finals on June 18, marking a glorious historical moment. The design takes inspiration from the team’s winning match against France in 1910. The kit boasts vintage-inspired outlines, fitted with adidas’ advanced on-field technology.
The cotton jersey features a white base with golden Three Stripes accents down the shoulders and chest logo. Italy’s national team shield is surrounded by laurel wreath decor and anniversary figures. Similar details adorn the lower half accordingly, honoring the beauty in simplicity.
Take a closer look at the special-edition football kit in the gallery above. Only 2023 kits will be sold to the public, delivered in exclusive boxing with dedicatory markings. The items will be for sale on June 14 via adidas the FIGC Store, and select retailers.
