Slam Jam Pays Homage to Gaznevada in New Capsule
With punk-inspired pieces.

In 2019 after celebrating its 30th anniversary, Luca Benini‘s Slam Jam began paying homage to a range of artists who have influenced the imprint – from CCCP-Fedeli alla linea to Devo. Now the brand has turned its attention to the Bologna-formed band, Gaznevafa.
Entitled “Going Underground,” the capsule derives its name from the band’s 1980s alternative anthem of the same name. In essence, the track is about never settling for the expected or predictable. As the group harbors a punk personality and messaging, the new collection carries the same cadence with a black leather jacket, hoodies and t-shirts. The range of pieces is finished off with graphic screen printed details and patches from the band.
The new collection is set to be previewed on Thursday, May 25 at Spazio Maiocchi in Milan – also with a public talk and DJ set from Gaznevada. The capsule will also release at Slam Jam on the same day.
