POETS and New Balance Unveil Tiago Lemos 1010 Collaboration
Complemented with Suede overlays.
New Balance has teamed up with New York-based skateboarding label POETS to present their own take on the Tiago Lemos 1010 sneaker, a ’90s-inspired silhouette designed for professional skater, Tiago Lemos.
Having been founded by legendary skateboarder Gino Iannucci back in 2002, POETS developed its name from the neighborhood of Poet’s Corner in Long Island; a place where each street is named after a 19th-century poet. With this in mind, this latest POETS x New Balance creation comes with a white mesh and leather upper while hairy Sail suede overlays are applied to the mudguards, mid panel, and heel counter.
Meanwhile, black piping complements the toe box, heel, and sockliner and customary “N” logos hit the lateral sides. Further customary POETS branding covers the heels and insoles and a Sail Fuel Cell midsole and black rubber outsole round off the design.
