Juergen Teller Captures 'The White Lotus' Stars and Dev Hynes in LOEWE Pre-FW23 Campaign
Aubrey Plaza and Murray Bartlett are found among Takeshi Kitano, Hans Ulrich Obrist, Ruth Negga and more.

Jonathan Anderson and Juergen Teller‘s relationship is intrinsically connected to the exploration of LOEWE‘s world, and for Fall/Winter 2023‘s pre-collection campaign, the two work together to spotlight a cast that showcases the House’s latest collection in a series of awkwardly humorous, conflicting and tension-filled images.
The campaign features The White Lotus stars Aubrey Plaza and Murray Bartlett, as well as the American actress Myha’la Herrold, Irish actress Ruth Negga, and Japanese-British actress Sonoya Mizuno. Elsewhere, the likes of musician Dev Hynes, Japanese comedian Takeshi Kitano, model Xiao Wen Ju, artists Nairy Baghramian and Koo Jeong A, and the curator and Serpentine Galleries Director Hans Ulrich Obrist can also be found showing off LOEWE’s FW23 pre-collection.
Particular standouts include the runway-worn balloon-covered heels, the Paseo Satchel bag, the hairy suede Chelsea boots and LOEWE’s signature Anagram denim pants, the abstract mushroom denim shirt (and matching Bermuda shorts), an array of raffia tote bags, and a top that’s crafted from silk and is designed to look like a ribbon bow.
One of the most daring ensembles is the one Kitano wears, who displays a shirt and trouser two-piece covered in a cutlery graphic. As for what’s not seen in the campaign, LOEWE presents FW23 pre-items ranging from fisherman turn-up jeans, T-shirts that emulate the House’s Puzzle bag, a luxurious tracksuit number, workwear jeans complete with exposed rivets and overt seams, and dozens of smaller leather accessories like wallets and belts.
