Returning with the latest iteration of its viral shoe made from recycled sex toys, ROSE IN GOOD FAITH has now given the Plastic Soul a “Cherry Blossom” colorway. Drawing inspiration from the reflective, soul-searching feel that comes with the change of the seasons, the new take expresses a soft pink tone.

Crafted in collaboration with sex toy manufacturer Doc Johnson, the shoes are constructed from upcycled adult toys that are deemed “damaged” or defective through manufacturing. The waste-neutral design reduces waste from pre-consumer manufacturing with a proprietary recycling system. The adult toys are ground down into millimeter-sized cubes of TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) and mixed with non-bleach EVA (Ethylene-Vinyl Acetate) foam and injection molded to form the shoes.

The ROSE IN GOOD FAITH Plastic Soul features raised arches in the footbed to lessen abnormal stress on the knees and hips and natural cork insoles that mold to provide extra support.

Limited to just 500 pairs, the Plastic Soul “Cherry Blossom” is available now exclusively on ROSE IN GOOD FAITH’s website.

In case you missed it, Puma leans into maximalism with the FASTROID NITRO.
