Following the news of John Wick 5 confirmed to be in early development by Lionsgate

A video game based on the action-packed John Wick franchise is also in early development at the moment, showing no signs of stopping anytime soon. The video game is one of many expansions of the John Wick universe, which includes spinoff TV shows and films. For instance, The Continental TV series is set to answer many of fans’ long-wondered questions about the franchise, while the Ballerina spin-off film starring Ana de Armas follows the retired ballerina assassin from the third film.

In the most recent earnings call, Lionsgate alluded to expanding into the AAA video game space, but did not discuss much of what can be expected. The franchise has had a foray into the video game space in 2019 with John Wick Hex, a strategy game developed by Bithell Games as a prequel to the films. The upcoming franchise video game has yet to be revealed and it is also uncertain if Keanu Reeves take any part in it. Fans will have to wait for the official announcement for more details.
