BENTGABLENITS Elevates Its Handmade Styling for SS23
Highlighting forgotten treasures.
Following a brief hiatus, standout Canadian label BENTGABLENITS has returned with its Spring/Summer 2023 collection. Elevating its handmade styling, the imprint continues its ongoing mission to highlight forgotten treasures, dedicated towards sustainability and the idea of “no waste.”
Leading the SS23 collection is BENTGABLENITS’ Arnold Palmer light cardigans emblazoned with handmade velvet badges and embroidered with “Winner.” Matching the sweater option are satin jackets dressed with similar velvet badges. Other standouts include the hand-dyed “Winner” sweatpants and shorts featuring hand-stitched velvet along the seams and vintage charm details. T-shirts are embellished with hand-embroidered netted fabric bearing the word “Victory,” along with hand-crocheted framed “#1” motifs.
Finally, the SS23 is completed by the petit point floral trousers embroidered with vintage 1920’s velvet sequin tape and vintage Levis 501 denim. Each pair of jeans is an homage to BENTGABLENITS’ fondness for flowers with hand-embroidered floral Petit points and vintage 1950’s charm accompanied by a hanging tassel along the belt loop.
