Official Look at the Fucking Awesome Jason Dill x adidas Originals Samba

Update: Shortly after a first look, we now have official imagery for Fucking Awesome‘s take on the Jason Dill x adidas Originals Samba. Building on the design of the original release back in 2019 and relaunched in 2022, the upcoming offering sees the simple black and white tones flipped. Finishing up the design of the shoe is Fucking Awesome branding at the tongues, metallic gold co-branding printed insoles, and translucent black rubber outsoles.

The Fucking Awesome Jason Dill x adidas Originals Samba is now set to arrive starting May 24, 11 a.m. PST (2 p.m. EDT) from Fucking Awesome and at select retailers.

Following the Experiment 2 “Triple Black” release, Jason Dill‘s Fucking Awesome has revealed a first look at the brand’s next adidas collaboration.

Dill’s longstanding partnership with adidas Skateboarding is impossible to overlook, having launched sneaker after sneaker that pays tribute to past and present skateboarding. However, as Fucking Awesome’s first adidas Samba collaboration, the streetwear imprint chooses to keep things simple. The uppers express black and are accented by white Three Stripes branding and heel tabs.

Previewing a classic black leather base, the pair’s recognizable two-toned palette is maintained with premium materials. White Three Stripes branding hits the medials and heel tabs, while Fucking Awesome’s graffiti-style lettering appears on the tongues. Gilded co-branded markings enhance the insoles, completing the subtle design with tonal black rubber sole units.
