After launching the Experiment 1 in “Dust Sand” last month, adidas and Fucking Awesome (FA) have reconnected to release the Experiment 2 in “Triple Black.” As part of adidas Skateboarding’s ongoing partnership with American skate brand FA, the duo has revisited 2021’s slim, leather covered Experiment 2 with an all-black look. Inspired by old-school skate shoes, founder Jason Dill connects the past with the present in this latest release.

The “Triple Black” look favors black on its leather upper, rubber sole unit and textile lining while a gold adidas Originals logo hits the heel branding. Notably, this pair’s co-branding avoids expletives on the surface by utilizing a simple “FA” at the tongue alongside various national flags. However, a maroon, terry lined sockliner is debossed with the Fucking Awesome name repeated throughout. The alternate laces match this shade of red in case the default black is too subtle.

Release for the Fucking Awesome x adidas Experiment 2 “Triple Black” has begun via FA while an adidas release date of August 13 is set at 10am EDT and priced at $110 USD.

In case you missed it, Pharrell’s latest contribution to the Three Stripes is the adidas Hu NMD “Animal Print Blue.”
