A Familiar "Cream/Black" Outfits the ASICS GEL-KAYANO 14

Last year, JJJJound and ASICS dominated many sneaker of the year conversations with their two GEL-KAYANO 14 colorways. As resale prices continue to skyrocket and fans of the duo eagerly await a sequel project, ASICS has snuck out some general release colorways of the GEL-KAYANO 14 that prompt onlookers to wonder if it’s the JJJJound-approved pair.
The latest look to don a JJJJound x ASICS GEL-KAYANO 14-adjacent presentation sees copper accents enter the mix. Its construction begins with an off-white mesh base that carries silver and copper overlays with hits of black adding to its contrast. Typical branding elements and a GEL-backed sole unit make a return as this versatile pair is sure to catch eyes.
Select retailers such as Asphaltgold have released this cream and black colorway of the ASICS GEL-KAYANO 14 early with almost all sizes sold out at a €159 EUR (approx. $170 USD) price point. Hang tight for an official launch via ASICS and additional stockists in the coming weeks at an expected price of $150 USD.
