Ever since Pharrell first teased the adidas NMD S1 back in 2021, the model has received a substantial amount of love. The futuristic silhouette has been filtered through the lenses of various collaborative partners such as luxury travel goods company RIMOWA and designer Philllllthy, and this year it’s going to further expand its arsenal with an array of new inline offerings. The latest to be revealed is this adidas NMD S1 “Core Black/Linen Green” colorway, which launches this week as an adidas exclusive.

This makeup is dropping in alignment with the silhouette’s “Ice Mint” iteration that was revealed in April 2023, and bears somewhat of a similar palette only with darker-toned elements. PrimeKnit uppers are coated in black and are paired up next to overlays that are treated in a spring-friendly, pastel green that’s enhanced with curvy textures. Semi-chunky midsole pieces are doused with “Linen Green” paint and stacked above a lighter-tinted outsole that features Trefoil-shaped treading.

Peep a detailed look at the Three Stripes sneakers above, and find them dropping on via adidas on May 11. The retail price is set at $250 USD.

Elsewhere in the world of footwear, early images of an upcoming Wales Bonner x adidas Samba collaboration have surfaced.
