adidas has just presented the latest addition to its NMD line: an S1 silhouette in a winter-ready “Ice Mint” colorway.

Over the past decade, adidas has introduced an assemblage of performance footwear designs that have been crafted with agility and comfort in mind. For example, adi’s UltraBOOST silhouettes have quickly become a mainstay in the Three Stripe arsenal with bouncy soles and further lightweight and breathable constructions. The same goes for adidas’ NMD umbrella, and this latest introduction to the family has been designed to keep its wearer’s feet firmly on the ground.

The latest NMD S1 has been designed with a completely different construction to the first iteration that was introduced to the line in 2015. Leaning into inspiration from adidas’ popular Copa Football Boot, the sneaker has been dressed in a selection of neutral hues, with the midsole and its Trefoil-covered bottom coated in the stand-out “Ice Mint” tone.

The sneaker is also hit with Primeknit along the instep and collar — which is complemented with an understated grey hue — and this sits alongside the sneaker’s customary branding on the lateral sides, tongues, and heel counter.

You can take a closer look at the new adidas NMD S1 above and it will be available to shop via the official adidas website from May 1.
