Salomon has been one of the hottest brands in the greater street culture sphere over the past few years, but even as its influence and impact grows and expands, the brand makes sure all of its products are rooted in performance — even if some of those products are specifically designed for lampin’. Apart from sturdy trail runners and hardy hiking boots, Salomon also produces “recovery” footwear, so for SS23 it’s spotlighting its two most familiar apres-sport models in the REELAX collection.
The REELAX collection consists of two takes on the RX Moc 3.0 and two iterations of the RX Slide 3.0. Each is made from chafe and scratch-free seamless fabric so it can be worn with or without socks, and features a chunky EVA foam midsole designed to provide energy return and reduce the burden on tired feet. Where the RX Moc 3.0 features a full sock-like slip on upper, the RX Slide 3.0 opts for a backless, mule-like construction for ease of entry and egress. This season, the RX Moc 3.0 has been done up in “Pewter/Desert Sage/Rose Cloud” and “Rubber/Taffy/Granada Sky,” while the RX Slide 3.0 is offered in “Dark Sapphire/Rubber/Jolly Green” and “Pewter/Desert Sage/Rose Cloud.”
Both styles are available now via HBX, and each retails at $100 USD.
