Nike's Re-Creation Program Arrives In London and Paris

Mid-last year, Nike introduced its new Re-Creation program — utilizing locally-sourced vintage attire upcycled into fresh garments by regional creatives. The project headed to Los Angeles for its first installment and sold a series of fleece hoodies and crewnecks inspired by LA sports culture.

Now, Nike revives its Re-Creation program across major European cities. Slated to arrive in London and Paris, this edition focuses on the future of athletes in sport and will debut collaborations with London-based design project Greater Goods and Paris’ Sarah Moh.

Both collections will supply reimagined vintage products, transforming them into innovative garments for adventurous city athletes. The pieces combine Nike’s competitive origins with the DNA of each designer. First, dated Nike crewnecks and hoodies are refurbished with frayed checkered designs, while black T-shirts are slashed to reveal vibrant layers beneath. Furthermore, nylon outerwear and bottoms receive color-blocked outlines alongside coordinating utilitarian accessories.
