Summary
Nike has partnered with NIGO and London's Design Museum to launch a collaborative apparel capsule
The collection accompanies the designer's major UK retrospective exhibition running through autumn
Selected pieces including a coaches jacket and graphic t-shirt will drop in waves throughout the summer season
Nike and NIGO have continued their partnership with London’s Design Museum to reveal the Nike x NIGO “From Japan with Love” apparel collection. Released to coincide with the multi-disciplinary creative’s major retrospective exhibition, the joint capsule translates decades of Ura-Harajuku design heritage into modern lifestyle garments.
The collaborative range focuses on premium streetwear staples inspired directly by NIGO’s personal design archive. Highlighting the limited-edition apparel offering is a classic coaches jacket and a matching graphic T-shirt, both pulling design cues from pieces originally created back in 1993. The garments feature distinct branding that integrates the iconic Nike Swoosh alongside custom typography, honoring the visual aesthetic of the legendary NOWHERE boutique.
Crafted to celebrate the intersection of fashion, art, and community, the capsule expands further to include co-branded fleece hoodies and daily accessories like beanies. Each item serves as an organic extension of the museum’s exhibition layout, bridging vintage Americana references with contemporary sportswear comfort. Rather than a singular rollout, the pieces arrive in consecutive phases to maintain a continuous presence throughout the exhibition’s lifespan. The “NIGO: From Japan with Love” exhibition at the Design Museum runs until October 4.
The Nike x NIGO apparel collection is available now at the Design Museum Shop and online.
