Nike continues to expand its titular offerings for its most iconic silhouettes. Joining the “Athletic Department” collection is the Nike Air Max 97. This special colorway is set to be seen on other models including the Dunk Low, AF1 and P-6000.

The shoe comes dressed in a white, sail, coconut milk and university blue mix of colors. The staple closet rotation sees the Air Max 97 constructed in a mixture of both mesh and leather materials. With a sail base, the shoe’s inner lining is highlighted with university blue accents, seen on the tongues, insoles, overlay stripe, pull taps, rubber outsole and the mini embroidered Swoosh branding. Special branding is stamped onto the insoles for the added touch to distinguish the shoe as a part of the “Athletic Department” collection. The shoe sits atop a sail midsole and a university blue outsole to round off the design.

Look out for the Nike Air Max 97 “Athletic Department” released in the coming months at select retailers and on Nike for $175 USD.
