In celebration of the growing women’s football leagues around the world, Nike has created its most comprehensive women’s football National Team Collections for its latest 2023 release. Showing their support for today’s powerful female footballer, the 2023 Women’s National Team Kits have made their debut in a new fit, featuring new material innovation that helps drive women’s specific movements within the sport.

Nike is matching the energy of women’s football with a new iteration of National Team kits that celebrate the rich cultures of Nike’s 13 federation partners. Through color, pattern and intricate details, Nike developed new performance-to-lifestyle designs for the summer’s biggest sports moment. The announcement of the new kits arrive after Nike’s largest-ever investment into women-specific research. Jordana Katcher, VP of Women’s Global Sports Apparel said, “We are thrilled to offer this new innovation to all athletes playing for Nike-sponsored federations this summer. Professional footballers play two 45-minute halves without breaks or time-outs. Many told us they can spend several minutes on-pitch concerned that they may experience leakage from their period. When we showed them this innovation, they told us how grateful they were to have this short to help provide confidence when they can’t leave the pitch.”

With this new collection, women footballers will be debuting new material innovations from Nike. The new kits feature Nike’s DRI-FIT ADV technology — the label’s most advanced-performance material innovation engineered for the body in motion. The pieces prioritize the player’s mobility, breathability and sustainability. The jerseys and shorts are all made with 100% recycled polyester from recycled plastic bottles, while the Swooshes and trims are made of 100% Nike Grind. A proud partner for women’s football, Nike highlights its 13 federation partners including, Australia and New Zealand, reigning Olympic Champions Canada, reigning European Champions England; reigning back-to-back World Champions the United States, and reigning Asian Cup Champions China.
