New Balance Rainier Suits Up With a "Black/Macadamia Nut" Makeover
The fashionable and functional hiking boot gets delivered with a sophisticated get-up.
After going on a six year hiatus, New Balance decided to give its fashionable and functional Rainier silhouette another run on the market in 2022. Since then, it has released in a flurry of inline colorways and even seen collaborative initiatives alongside Aimé Leon Dore, and now the former is set to expand its catalog with another entry this spring. The latest to arrive is the New Balance Rainier “Black/Macadamia Nut” colorway which has just been released via select European retailers.
In a similar fashion to the model’s recently-unveiled caramel brown colorway, this newest installment is styled with a more sophisticated presentation. The base layer’s overlays are treated with a premium, smooth black leather material and complemented by tonal canvas panels across the toe boxes and collars. Hiking style shoe laces add a touch of playfulness as they are fashioned with red and black stripes, and these come locked down by metallic silver D-rings. Down below, the trail-ready sole pieces are brought to life with full “Macadamia Nut” exteriors for some neutral contrast.
