Quench Your Thirst With Salomon and Greater Goods' S/Lab Hydration Crew Jacket

If you want to venture on outdoor excursions, 10K races or even full-blown marathons, the rule of thumb is to always make sure that you have enough water to help you power through to your destination and/or the finish line. Thankfully this April, Salomon and Greater Goods have linked up to create a hyper technical and functional outerwear piece that can assist you with just that: the S/Lab Hydration Crew Jacket.

Many gorpcore brands tend to integrate utility components into their pieces such as backpack straps, extra pockets and zip-off sleeves, but this collaborative piece takes function to a whole new level. It’s built with 3 x 21 reservoirs, seven 500ml soft flasks, a trio of soft cups, 10 storage pockets, one first aid kit and a survival blanket. It’s designed from upcycled Salomon products, dedicated to concept of sustainability and made up of two ski pants, one hydration vest, two jackets and two fleece pieces.

The team-up is a one-of-a-kind April Fool’s initiative and garment that is being raffled off for charity. Salomon has partnered with Opening Up the Outdoors — a non-profit organization that focuses on the continued inclusion, education and enjoyment of outdoor spaces — to host a draw where participants can enter from April 2-April 10. A minimum donation of €10 (approx. $11 USD) is required to be considered and you can enter here.
