The New Balance 550 Is Reimagined With Weathered Detailing
Expressing a mix of “White/Grey/Blue.”
Building on the retro design of the New Balance 550, New Balance is now gearing up to offer the shoe with weathered detailing. Centered around a mix of “White/Grey/Blue” the shoe is marked by a worn aesthetic throughout.
The weathered New Balance 550 “White/Grey/Blue” features gray mesh and suede upper bases paired with leather overlays. Additional detailing comes in the form of matching gray mesh tongues, light blue suede, and dark blue “N” motifs. Further branding elements include “550” markings, tongue tags, “NB” at the rear, and printed insoles. Finishing up the design of the shoe are gray sockliners, dark blue heel counters, and white sole units with worn scuff marks.
Priced at $130 USD, the weathered New Balance 550 “White/Grey/Blue” is now expected to release on New Balance’s website and at select retailers starting May 12.
