CEEC’s newest Spring/Summer 23 “EXPLORE” collection pushes the limits of rock‘n’roll-inspired fashion. The brand took the spirit of ‘80s and ‘90s punk culture and applied it to today’s familiar streetwear pieces. The practice is reflective of how music sampling can be similar to fashion designs taking inspiration from various cultures like art, music and more. CEEC referenced the ‘80s and ‘90s – a time when fashion was full of risks, experimentation and rebellion, way before the advent of social media. From this foundation, the LA-based brand created a collection with pieces that were popular from that era and gave them a modern twist with new fabrics, color-schemes and inventive construction techniques.

CEEC’s SS23 range consists of T-shirts, denim, hoodies and more. To truly capture the punk rock reference points, CEEC applied distressed patterns, fringed edges, exposed threads and knitted patches to some of garments. Pieces like the psychedelic castle hoodie, crew neck sweater, and T-shirt were hand-stitched from coarse spun cotton and feature vibrant floral and typography motifs. Standouts from the collection consist of a jacket and pants printed with a marble pattern. The jacket which boasts abstract black and white tones, features a jewel-encrusted logo.

For bottoms, the straight-leg “double knit” denim pants sport a light wash, along with webbed detailing at the knees. Rounding out the collection are essential pieces: hoodies, and short and long sleeve graphic t-shirts. The hoodies come in black and yellow and feature a CEEC motif stitched on the front. Both short and long-sleeve T-shirts feature natural distressing and an oversized fit.

CEEC “EXPLORE” collection will be available to purchase through ceecla.com
