BEAMS Outfits the Salomon RX Slide 3.0 With Floral Graphics
The slip-on kicks are designed to mimic the aesthetic of a painting.
Salomon and its collaborations team have been moving full steam ahead with a multitude of projects this season. We’ve seen the outdoor-focused imprint cook up a comical April Fools vest alongside Greater Goods as well as launch an XT-6 team-up with atmos, and now it has tapped BEAMS to produce a new take atop the Salomon RX Slide 3.0.
The concept behind this backless silhouette was to reimagine it with painting-inspired graphics. And it achieves this aesthetic by arriving with rosy pink floral and dusted olive leaf graphics that land on its lateral walls, all of which are backdropped by an earthy, tan lateral synthetic material and seated adjacent to lighter brown mesh medials. Toe tips are topped off with brown suede while the cork insoles are co-branded with a “Salomon | BEAMS” spell-out. Down below, the bottoms are constructed with a beige midsole piece and trail-colored outsole to round off its look.
