Fast forward to five years after the events of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and you arrive at the continuation of Cal Kestis’ journey with Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. Previously showcased via reveal and gameplay trailers, the new title from EA is an exciting return as the state of the galaxy falls to darkness.

As revealed previously, Kestis’ crew of BD-8, Cere, Greez and Merrin are all present with a new addition — mercenary Bode Akuna. The action-packed presentation goes from the skyscrapers of Coruscant to Kestis flinging a Stormtrooper at a TIE Fighter to him squaring off with remarkable foes. This time around, his highlighted opposition includes a Rancor, AT-ST, Droidekas and a Gen’Dai — a species with regenerative properties that can live for possibly several millennia.

For those looking forward to picking up Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, its release is scheduled for April 28 and will arrive on PC, the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S at a price of $70 USD for the Standard Edition. Pre-orders are available now and include a Deluxe Edition option that features “Galactic Hero” and “New Hero” cosmetic packs inspired by Han Solo and Luke Skywalker.

In other gaming news, an endgame trailer for Diablo IV has been shared by Activision Blizzard ahead of the game’s launch this summer.
