Bremont Celebrates the Coronation of King Charles III with a Commemorative Timepiece
A limited-edition of only 50 watches.
On May 6, the coronation of Charles III as King of the United Kingdom will take place. To celebrate the inaugural event, Bremont has revealed a limited-edition commemorative timepiece in honor of the new monarch.
Based on the British watchmaker’s iconic Martin-Baker MB model, the MBII King Charles III watch stars a classic white, paired with clear white Arabic numerals, lume-filled hands, and accentuated with a purple-hued second hand. The 42mm case is attired in a stainless steel Trip-Tick® with a knurled titanium barrel, accompanied by a patented inner bi-directional Roto-Click® bezel. One of the most noteworthy features of this time-teller is its engraved caseback, which features King Charles III Coronation Emblem.
At the heart of the timepiece is the modified calibre 11 1/2’’’ BE-36AE, set with 26 jewels, Glucydur balance, Anachron balance spring, alongside a Nivaflec mainspring. Beating at a rate of 28,800 vibrations per hour, the movement offers a running time of 38 hours with 10 ATM water resistance. The watch is paired with black calf leather straps, and finished with white top-stitchings, and matching stainless steel pin buckle.
Releasing as a 50-piece limited-edition, the timepiece will be exclusively available via Bremont’s official website and boutiques. Keep an eye out on the brand’s website for updates on its availability and price point.
