Alexis Sablone and Converse Debut Signature AS-1 Pro Silhouette
The renowned Olympian takes inspiration from ’80s basketball and court silhouettes.
Multi-hyphenate creative Alexis Sablone has more than a few accomplishments under her belt. From holding seven X-Games titles to grasping a spot on the first USA Skateboarding National Team while being an avid architect, sculptor, and more, Sablone shows no signs of slowing down as she debuts her first Converse signature model.
Dubbed the AS-1 Pro, Sablone pulled inspiration from Converse’s ’80s basketball and court silhouettes combined with modern technology and a performance-ready approach. Reflecting the skater’s show-stopping attitude, the kicks are crafted from premium white leather and feature dark green accents on the forefoot TPU pods, medial Converse logos, and CONS-branded heel tabs.
Model-specific markings adorn the ankles and tongues, complete with Converse’s first-ever skateboarding cupsole that delivers increased cushioning and enhanced board control.
