London-based designer Kiko Kostadinov is beginning to push his Spring/Summer 2023 collection onto retail shelves globally. In February, the designer officially debuted his latest footwear offering, the Tonkin Boots, which triumphantly stomped around the footwear sector. To begin the Spring season, Kostadinov has geared up to drop a low-top version of the monstrous silhouette.
Arriving in “Black” and “Dune” colorways, the Tonkin Lace-Up Shoe features Bovine leather uppers with a smooth high-gloss finish. The offering boasts rounded toe boxes with square indentations that manipulate its assembly, while double-layered lacing systems adorn the shoe with a tumbled leather design. Rear pull tabs make for a swift experience, hidden behind tinted textile liners that deliver a touch of contrast to the muted palettes.
Finally, show-stopping rubber sole units round out the outline, featuring wavy cut-outs that extend into the quarter panels with ribbed perimeters and oval traction grip mechanisms.
