Timberland Presents New Motion 6 Hiker Silhouettes in Fresh Outdoor-Ready Collection
Working in collaboration with Midlands-based hiking charity, We Go Outside Too.
Timberland has just presented a new outdoor collection packed with nature-ready footwear silhouettes and apparel designs in partnership with Midlands-based hiking organization, We Go Outside Too.
The new collection starts with the Greenstride Motion 6 Hiker — this has been designed to offer a lightweight feel with enhanced comfort through its soft sole. Additionally, the shoe has been designed with a triangular lug outsole — which is made of regenerative rubber — along with ReBOTL mesh panels and further recycled plastic linings.
Meanwhile, the Fabric Leather Euro Hiker — a revitalized edition of the original shoe released in 1988 — combines the shoe’s classic EVA midsole with Timberland’s leather and textured ReBOTL fabric. Other collection highlights come in the form of the Winsor Trail Mid Hiker and the Waterproof Timberdry Trail Jacket for men which has been designed with a lightweight and ripstop nylon outer.
As a whole, the collection aligns itself with We Go Outside Too’s brand ethos: bringing the rawness and authenticity of nature to the Black community. This is done via a connection to the great outdoors, creating opportunities and safe spaces for the international Black community and using fresh air to improve mental and physical well-being.
