The Porsche 911 Classic Club Coupe Is Going Up for Auction in June
A one-of-a-kind ‘Factory One-Off’.
This 911 Classic Club Coupe is due to go under the hammer at the Porsche 75th Anniversary Auction in June. Grant Larson, Porsche’s Directory of Special Projects worked with the Porsche Club of America to design this one-of-one car through the Sunderwunsch program.
Put together in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen, the 911 was never put into production for sale. Now on Broad Arrow Auctions’ website, it’s touted as a “Factory One-Off” and described as a prequel to the 2010 911 Sport Classic car
Doused in a bespoke Sport Grey Metallic paint, the one-off 911 is embellished with Sport Grey Light and Club Blau racing stripes across the hood and one of the sides. The custom ducktail spoiler and the double-bubble roof draw influences from the 1972 911 Carrera RS, while also acting as a nod to Porsche’s motorsport heritage.
As for performance, the car is powered by a brand new 996.2-gen 911 GT3, a water-cooled flat-six with a horsepower of 381 that’s capable of revving to 8000 rpm. Its brakes and suspension come with 18-inch forged aluminum Fuchs wheels.
Unique to the 911 Classic Club Coupe, the interior is outfitted with woven Pepita-patterned leather in black and slate gray. Matching with its upholstery, the car is being sold with a set of Porsche Design luggage, which features the same patterns and materiality as car interiors.
The Porsche 75th Anniversary Auction is scheduled to take place at the Porsche Experience Center in Atlanta, US on June 8-10. Estimates for the Porsche 911 Classic Club Coupe ‘No. 001/001′ Factory One-Off is available upon request via Broad Arrow Auctions’ website.
