Here's a First Look at OTTO 958's Upcoming ASICS Footwear Series
Retro soccer boot silhouettes from Kiko Kostadinov and Morán Morán Gallery.
OTTO 958, a joint project between Kiko Kostadinov and LA-based art gallery Morán Morán, has unveiled its first collaboration with ASICS. The upcoming footwear series arrives in dark grey, green, and black colorways which take inspiration from ’90s Japanese leather soccer boots.
Found in a streamlined silhouette, the upcoming pairs feature a quilted toe box with an off-center lace system to increase the contact surface between the ball and foot. “O” logo embroidery covers the entirety of the tongue flap, ASICS logos are displayed across the tongue and heel, and OTTO 958 logos are embellished across the heel counter. Rounding out the look are rubber sole units featuring finger-like grooves around the lateral edges.
