Liverpool F.C. and Converse Unveil Collaborative Chuck 70 and Run Star Hike Silhouettes
Taking inspiration from the club’s scarves that are worn on match day.
Following the release of the collaboration’s apparel line, Converse and Liverpool Football Club have now presented their collaborative sneakers and the duo have worked together on a line of Chuck 70 and Run Star Hike silhouettes.
For Liverpool, the Premier League side has been playing in the footwear scene for some time now. Having recently connected with LeBron James — who is part-owner of the six-time Champions League winner — on Air Max 1 and LeBron 20 sneakers, the football club has now turned its attention to Converse, with its latest collaboration unveiling more lifestyle-focused designs that explore the club’s past honors and vast history.
Diving into the Converse archive, the designs receive an all-out assemblage of graphics, taking inspiration from the club banners and scarves that are worn throughout Anfield on match day. The Chuck 70 has been hit with a jet-black base layer and grey print, while softer hues of cream are applied to the laces, toe cap, and along the medial side’s Chevron Star. Meanwhile, speckles of “Tomato” are added to Liverpool’s embroidered crest on the tongue and the medial sidewall’s mid-foot patch.
In contrast, The Run Star Hike is designed with an “Oat Milk” color scheme. The soft hue is used across the upper and medial side branding, while the “Egret”-coated sole unit is complemented with “Rainforest” green accents across its serrated tread.
