Butter Goods is back with another nostalgic collaboration, this time tugging at our heartstrings by enlisting the beloved blue comic characters, The Smurfs. Having collaborated with Snoopy and the entire Peanuts gang in 2022, this collaboration continues to showcase Butter’s youthful note. When it comes to The Smurfs, the characters have long been a sentimental staple within streetwear culture, previously collaborating with Supreme for its Fall/Winter 2020 collection.

Tapping into the popular comic strip from 1958, Butter has dropped an essentials collaboration, bridging together classic skatewear pieces and accessories with the whimsical and playful design motifs of The Smurfs. Those familiar with the Smurfs fandom will be drawn to a world of nostalgia seeing signature scenes like the Smurfs playing the trumpet and of course a nod to the mushrooms that often are a staple in the Smurfs’ world.

Pieces range from a selection of graphic t-shirts featuring the Smurf, trumpet, and musical motifs, as well as a multi-pocketed fleece vest to sweaters, sweatpants, and a puffer jacket. The collection also includes a pair if light wash denim jeans featuring a Smurf stuck under a trumpet. In accessories, fans can represent the entire Smurf family on their caps.

Look out for the Butter Goods x The Smurfs collaboration releasing in select retailers worldwide on March 18 and online from March 19 at 4 p.m. PDT.
