adidas Puts Sustainability First With Its New "Parley Boot Pack"
Working in collaboration Parley, a non-profit organization founded in 2012.

adidas Football has just unveiled its brand-new “Parley Boot Pack,” making them the first-ever boots to be made with Parley Ocean Plastic.
With this in mind, these latest football boots created by adidas are crafted from re-imagined plastic waste taken from remote islands, beaches, coastal communities, and shorelines — standing as a move that aims to prevent the said waste from polluting the ocean.
Welcoming new Copa, Predator Accuracy, and X silhouettes, each design has been hit with a “Lucid Blue” and white color scheme, while a new wave-patterned design is also used across each lateral side and upper. Each boot has been designed with precision in mind, while also offering closer control through the lightweight construction and enhanced grip on the studs.
The main feature of the new boots, however, comes in the form of the replacement of virgin polyester with recycled solutions, with adidas making yet another step towards using all-recycled constructions wherever possible by 2024. Now, with adidas working even closer with Parley — a non-profit organization founded in 2012 that addresses environmental threats to the oceans through plastic pollution — than ever before, the Three Stripe is now even closer to succeeding through its sustainably-focused lens.
