A Better Mistake Drops "HERO" Collection With Running.Files
Presenting the duo’s eerie figure on an array of genderless garments.
Following the reveal of its punk-inspired Fall/Winter 2023 collection “ALTER-EGOS,” Milanese brand A Better Mistake has dropped its latest offering.
Continuing to display its boundary-defying mentality through genderless fashion that rebels against the traditional, A Better Mistake’s new “HERO” collection continues to explore the brand’s attachment to eerie technical codes taken from a cyborg-ruled universe. The range sees A Better Mistake reconnect with Polish artist Running.Files on several casual garments blasted with the duo’s photographic figure.
The digital artwork enhances asymmetrical pinstriped blazers, coats, and vests, moving onto cropped hoodies, checkered picnic-like wrap skirts, and T-shirts fashioned with hand-drawn scripture. In addition, the image sets the tone for the collection, boosting every garment with shades of blue, lilac, and purple set against a neutral base. Monogrammed iterations are printed on silk button-downs and coordinating shorts with a slouchy fit, accented by A Better Mistake’s broken glass graphic throughout.
