Outdoors apparel company, and wander, has delivered a new lookbook for its SS23 “camp collection,” showcasing a number of in-line and collaborative wares including the brand’s first-ever tent in collaboration with Helinox.
Traveling far away from the bustle of the city, the and wander team sets up camp by the lake with a view of the mountains in the distance. Whether cooking up breakfast, taking a nap on the hammocks, or taking the paddleboards out for a cruise, the series is seen providing am unintrusive and contemplative home away from home.
Highlighted are the modular Muraco x and wander tents, Helinox x and wander folding chairs featuring the quote “to be rained upon, caught in the wind, or simply trekking the mountain is fun,” and water-repellent sleeping bags in collaboration with NANGA made to sleep comfortably at temperatures as low as -2 degrees.
“When I close my eyes and listen carefully, I can faintly hear trees rustling and swaying in the wind and the chirping of insects,” writes and wander of the trip. “My phone doesn’t ring at all. There is no traffic here, as if time stands still. to stare at the fire, that we randomly built. Our thoughts and feelings stray along unusual paths.”
