As part of its Spring/Summer 2023 collection, Stone Island has debuted a range of “Ghost Pieces,” or totally-monochromatic apparel items that are based on the concept of camouflage.

Across the collection, Stone Island’s badge has been transformed into special mono-color versions that blend with their respective garment. This season, the line appears in three tones — beige, army green and black — with a 100% organic fabric construction developed from premium, long-staple cotton fibre. Notably, when the fibre is wet, its combination of dense weaving and swelling properties offers an ideal all-weather barrier, without the need for coating or lamination.

Stone Island’s “Ghost Pieces” fall largely in the outerwear category. Among the silhouettes, the brand constructs a Field Jacket, complete with a standing collar, frontal pockets and two hidden snap fastenings, as well the standard Jacket, which buttons up to a traditional collar, with a similar pocket layout. Elsewhere, the collection includes the Fishtail Parka, which, as its name suggests, features a fishtail bottom line on its back, with drawstring and snaps inside for shortening the coat. And the Hooded Sweatshirt puts forth a simple design, with a front elasticated drawstring and cotton jersey lining.
