Nia Archives Is All About Self-Love in Her New Single "Conveniency"
Coming from her new EP ‘Bang Ur Head Against Tha Wall’ that is dropping on March 10.
Lo-fi jungle singer and songwriter, Nia Archives has just released a brand new single entitled “Conveniency,” and it’s the latest track to come from her forthcoming EP, Bang Ur Head Against Tha Wall, which is due on March 10.
Recently, the Yorkshire-born musician has had a busy few months. For example, the artist picked up a MOBO award, BRITs Rising Star Award, DJ Mag award, and also placed third in the BBC’s Sound Poll, cementing herself as one of the most exciting rising artists from the UK right now.
With this in mind, the jungle and D&B producer has just dropped her first single of 2023 and it unveils a more honest side Archives, one that sees her stand up for herself against selfishness within friendships and love. The record also comes with some accompanying visuals — directed by Archives herself and Delphino — and the movie captures Archives navigating her current home of East London with British skater, Josh Smith.

And while the new single is already a certified pre-summer smash, it’s just a taste of what’s to come from the full project. “Across the EP, I’m broadly talking about growing up as a person,” Archives said. “It’s the most exciting project I’ve made yet and it’s a window into the future and the kind of artist I want to become.”
