JiyongKim's FW23 Collection Unveils Cold Weather Outfitting
Sharing its latest sun-faded designs.
After delivering its Spring/Summer 2023 collection, JiyongKim, the eponymous label from South Korean designer Jiyong Kim, has now unveiled its upcoming Fall/Winter 2023 range. The seasonal collection sees the label take its sun-bleached wares to new heights through a series of evocative silhouettes that highlight the natural color-fading signature to JiyongKim.
The label’s unique process rejects the large amounts of water and harmful chemicals to produce the desired coloration while developing thoughtfully designed clothing.
Comprised of various outerwear, hoodies, shirts, tops, pants, skirts, and accessories, the FW23 collection once again explores striking layering, pleating, asymmetric patterns, and placement details. The bold array of looks shares how the label continues to push its usage of sustainable selected vintage and dead-stock textiles for an expressive outfitting sensibility. Standouts include the Sun-Bleached Belted Trench Coat, Sun-Bleached Velvet Hooded Jacket, Layered Shirt, Drape Shirt, Wide Draped Waist Trousers, and Multi-Pocket Sweatpants.
