Craighill's New Headphone Stand Is A "Safe Sound Home"
The perfect resting place for your favorite headphones or headset.
Brooklyn-based design and manufacturing company Craighill has done everything from collaborating with Lichen on a cork planter to teaming up with A24 for a Marcel the Shell with Shoes On figure, and now they’re stepping into the world of audio accessories with a sleek and sturdy headphone stand. “We took a hard look at all the people dropping hundreds — even thousands — of dollars on amazing headphones from Bowers & Wilkins, Bose, Denon, Master & Dynamic etc. and thought to ourselves ‘where are they keeping them?’” said Craighill founder Hunter Craighill. “Having a home for your favorite gear just feels right.”
Arriving in a “Vapor Black” finish, Craighill’s headphone stand offers a curvilinear form that’s inspired by modern architecture and features a silicon seat on top of its curved steel body, which itself features rubber “feet” for stability. This assemblage is packaged in a black-and-silver box that cheekily refers to it as a “safe, sound home.” The overall design is sturdy but not overbearing and technical without being overly designed. “We were searching for a solution that accomplished the twin tasks of creating a useful means of storage while also standing on its own,” says Craighill, discussing the stand’s look.
The Craighill Headphone Stand is available now on the Craighill webstore and retails for $88 USD.
