AND1 is Bringing Back Its Rise Basketball Shoe
The return of a 2000s court classic from the streetball icon.
Following the release of Netflix’s The Rise and Fall of AND1 documentary, AND1, the ’90s-2000s street basketball-focused sportswear brand known for its iconic mixtapes, mixtape tour, and subversive offerings, is now set to bring back one of its signature sneakers. Taking to Instagram, the brand shared that it is set to bring back the Rise basketball shoe made famously worn by Chauncey Billups during the Detroit Pistons‘ 2004 NBA Championship run.
Although no new official images of the Rise have been revealed just yet, AND1 did deliver a campaign image showing the shoe framed by the message “Win Different./Rise Again.” The obscured look at the shoe shows a clean white leather upper paired with metallic overlays and classic branding. The return of the AND1 Rise later this year is part of the brand’s return centered around its signature sneakers.
Stay tuned for more information regarding the re-release of the AND1 Rise.
